I'm from North Carolina originally, but moved to the great state of Texas for work. I met my wife Selina in Houston going to 2nd Baptist, and knew that she was the one for me. After we married, we moved to the Valley to pursue my business. I became a submitted follower of Jesus after our first year of marriage. We sold our business and began college work, which was followed by youth work in a local church. I knew without a shadow of a doubt I wanted to plant a gospel centered, missional focused church. Logos Community was planted from this dream. Selina and I have 3 wonderful girls: Carolina, Emma Lee, and Mary Grace. We are proud to call the Rio Grande Valley home; we have found real community in Logos, and absolutely love the people. There is nowhere else that we would rather be!

I'm from Houston TX, but moved to the Rio Grande Valley to become a teacher in 2004 and after 2 years I began to work for the City of McAllen. I met my wife Ashley in college while attending the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. I became a submitted follower of Jesus after our 3rd year of marriage. We began to be discipled by Pastor Tom and his wife, Selina, and within months we were hosting a large bible study at our house, which shortly after became a church plant which we now call Logos Community. I have been the Executive Pastor for Logos Community since April 11, 2010. Ashley and I have one beautiful baby girl, Addison and we are pregnant with one more. We had plans to leave the valley early in our marriage but we know without a doubt we have been called to the Rio Grande Valley and the Lord has given us a heart for the people here.

My wife and I grew up in a small town outside of Austin, TX called Georgetown. I have traveled to every corner of this country, but it is in the Rio Grande Valley where Christ called me to himself and allows me to serve and grow in his church. God has blessed me with a beautiful wife, Amanda, and loving son, Aedyn.

My name is Kate; I grew up in H-Town (Houston), TX and made my way down to the Valley for college. Christ grabbed me out of the mess I was making of my life and made me his own, and I’m now serving at Logos and loving on people in our community. I can't wait to see what the Lord is going to do here in the Valley!
