Atmosphere - Both our services (9am & 11am) are at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg (4610 S. Jackson Rd). At our service you’ll find it to be more informal than typical church services, where more people will be wearing jeans, t-shirts, shorts, and the like. We love community and we love the culture. Our members come from all ages but many would consider us a young church. Our CHILDCARE is led by a great group of people many of which are teachers by profession. We are about community and our people love to connect and you will see a lot of this whether its around the snacks or in our sanctuary. People - Like the twelve disciples Jesus chose to follow him we come from all different walks of life with many different styles and cultures. Don’t be surprised to see tattoos, body piercings, or a different style of clothing and don’t be surprised to also see, vests, ties, and well groomed hair. This isn’t a country church with cookie cutter people. We as the body of Christ strive to love and serve one another and you will find that this church is full of real people with real stories but have been saved by Gods grace through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
What you can expect - After you grab some snacks and a drink or coffee you will jump right into our sanctuary to hear our worship team lead us is song through great music whether it’s a new song they are working on or a restyled old hymn made contemporary. We LOVE the Word of God and you will hear it preached with integrity, humility, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Logos Community is about Jesus, so expect to see the truth of His gospel laced in all the aspects of the services.
Serve – We at Logos Community know the importance of serving one another, following the example set by the first church in Acts 2:42-47. As we grow so does the need for more people to join us as we serve those coming to Logos Community and the RGV. We have many opportunities for you to serve listed on our website.
